Slow + Ethical

Hello friend

Welcome to Udo. As a Black woman-owned brand, Udo was created to bring peace.

Munachiso founded Udo in the spring of 2024. As an NHS doctor, mum, friend, sister, wife and daughter finding time to rest was difficult. Udo began as an escape, but soon became a home.

The Udo Collection is made up of timeless pieces using zero waste design and ethically sourced, deadstock or reclaimed fabrics. Our fabrics are chosen for their quality, texture and ethical history. By focusing on every stage of the supply chain, we support fair labour practices, minimise the environmental footprint of our production process and build a slower, more sustainable future for fashion.

For us, inclusivity is the standard. Variation in race, size, gender, sexuality, ability, age and neurodiversity only enriches the Udo experience. By joining Udo, you are contributing to a growing movement of solidarity.

At Udo Collection, we love all shapes and sizes. Our dresses are designed to joyfully celebrate all body types, ranging from size 4 to size 32. Everyone should feel confident, comfortable, and stylish in whatever they have on. Feeling good in your clothes is about more than just the look—it's about the fit. Our pieces are carefully designed, ensuring that no matter your size, you can enjoy the same level of quality and attention to detail. Fashion should make you feel exceptional, not exclude. We are proud to offer styles as gorgeous as all the people that wear them.

Every garment is made in London. Local production allows us to stay connected to every step of the process. By producing locally, we can reduce transportation emissions, support the local economy and maintain our commitment to quality. We are committed to slow and ethical growth, and will continue to make beautiful but purposeful clothes.

Munachiso's plan for Udo is big, you coming?
